The Golden Tulip Altis Suites is a modern, 11 story building with a white fa�ade, located in the historic city center of Lisbon, Portugal. Guests are situated less than two kilometers from the shops and nightlife of the Bairro Alto. The 303 soundproofed guestrooms feature white walls, wooden furniture and lightly patterned fabrics. Modern amenities include Internet connections, satellite television, air conditioning, and minibars. Attached marble bathrooms have with bathrobes, telephones, and hairdryers.
Guests have three dining options, the Grill D.Fernando serves traditional Portuguese dishes in a informal dining room which offers impressive views of the city. Girassol restaurant serves a traditional buffet for breakfast, lunch and has set menus, and the Coffee Shop Le Rendez Vous, serves specialty teas, coffees, and snacks daily until late.
The hotel houses a health club offering Turkish bath, solarium, sauna and massage and physiotherapy; guests can also use the gym and swim in the indoor heated pool. Those with business needs can use the conference rooms, audio visual equipment, rent computers, and use wireless Internet connections. In the evening, guests can relax on the hotel's mezzanine with a drink from the bar, whilst listening to music played by the hotel pianist. The hotel is centrally placed in Lisbon, and there are numerous sites of interest within three kilometers, such as the Botanical Gardens, St Jorge Castle and the Convent of the Carmo.
