With terracotta tiled roofs and balconies in keeping with traditional local architecture, the sea facing Hotel Miramar sits among landscaped tropical gardens and incorporates an original 1920s villa. The 58 air conditioned apartments are decorated in light, contemporary style and enjoy views of the sea, the gardens or the mountains that provide the backdrop to the town of Funchal. All have balconies and kitchenettes, and are equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephones, dial up Internet connections and minibars.
Guests can relax beside the heated outdoor swimming pool and children's pool with a drink from the poolside bar, or head directly for the beach, accessible via the neighbouring Pestana Carlton Hotel gardens. There is a golf course within five kilometres and Madeira airport is 20 kilometres and a 15 minute drive away.
