Location. The Orbis Grand Warszawa is an early 20th century hotel situated in the centre of Warsaw, 500 metres away from the Palace of Science and Culture and Museum and three kilometres from Warsaw's historic Old Town. Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (WAW) is 11 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.

Getting there. Bus number 175 serves the city centre and old town; the nearest stop to the hotel, 300 metres away, is DH SMYK. A single ticket costs 3 PLN. Night bus 611 provides transport to the central railway station every 30 minutes from 11 PM to 5 AM. Some hotels offer shuttle services to and from the airport. The Intercity Polski Express offers long distance coach services to 30 towns in Poland. Tickets can be bought from the ORBIS desk in the arrivals area or from the driver. Taxis are readily available in front of arrivals and typically cost 60 PLN (16 EUR) to the city centre. Warsaw has an extensive integrated public transport system comprised of trams, buses and metro services. A single ticket is 2.40 PLN and a 24 hour unlimited pass is 7.20 PLN. Buses and trams run from 5 AM to 11 PM; night buses also operate in the city. Horse drawn carriages are also available in Warsaw's old town. Regional trains connect Warsaw with destinations all over Poland. Prices are all subject to change.
Driving directions. From the airport drive along Zwirki and Wigury Street and turn left into Wawelska Street. Continue to Armii Ludowej Avenue and turn left into Ujazdowkie Avenue. Continue and turn left into Wilcza Street. Turn right into Krucza Street, and the hotel is at number 28.
