Location. Voksenasen Hotel is a modern three floor property overlooking Oslo on the Ullveien Hill, surrounded by ski slopes and forests. It is just 1.5 kilometres from the Holmenkollen national ski jump and seven kilometres from the National Gallery. Oslo Gardermoen Airport is 58 kilometres from the hotel, approximately 70 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. Voksenasen Hotel Oslo has direct access to the ski slopes, and there is also plenty of ski storage space, a ski shuttle, a sauna and a steam room, a large collection of modern Norwegian art and a gift shop. In summer the surrounding gardens have a picnic area, and there is a pool with a sun terrace. Practical amenities include supervised childcare, multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk, currency exchange, dry cleaning and laundry, complimentary wireless Internet access, and garage parking.
Voksenasen's main restaurant has � la carte and buffet lunch options, and has views across Oslo and the Holmenkollen ski area. Fredmemans Bar, with its panoramic views, features minimalist decor and modern, Norwegian art and serves drinks and light snacks.
The hotel offers bicycle rentals, and there are plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Guestrooms. The 76 guestrooms, over three floors, feature modern Scandinavian decor. All include balconies with city views, complimentary Internet connections, cable television with pay movies, coffee/tea makers, minibars, complimentary bottled water, safes and hair dryers.
Expert Tip.The acclaimed Gustav Vigeland Sculpture Park is just six kilometres from the hotel it contains 192 sculptures in beautiful grounds.

Getting there. The Airport Express train takes 20 minutes from Gardermoen Airport to Oslo's Central Train Station. Taxis are readily available from there on. Much of central Oslo can be explored on foot, and buses and trams also provide a regular service to all parts of the city.
