Location. Built in a Venetian style, Hotel Helios Splendid is small, modern property overlooking the sea in an area of tranquil villages and ancient olive groves in the south east of Corfu. It is just 200 metres from Boukari Beach and 25 kilometres from Corfu Town. Corfu I Kapodistrias International Airport is 25 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features.Characteristically rustic with whitewashed walls and simple furnishings, the Helios Bar opens early, and there is a lush garden. Guests can also stroll in the tranquillity of the surrounding olive groves, and consult staff at the concierge desk to book organised excursions. Boukari Beach, just 200 metres from the hotel, offers the opportunity to go swimming and diving, with a wider variety of water based recreation available. Five kilometres away are the resorts of Moraitika and Messonghi.
Guestrooms. The 15 guestrooms are located on three floors and feature furnished balconies that overlook the sea. Simply decorated in cool light with modern furnishings, all guestrooms include air conditioning, minibars, satellite television and Internet connections.
Expert Tip. A short walk to Boukari Beach or the village of Kouspades, within 500 metres of the hotel, will transport food lovers to a seafood heaven. Snapper, Lobster in Corfu Sauce, and Scampi in Garlic Metaxa Sauce are among the specialities in the traditional tavernas found here.

Getting there. A shuttle between the airport and the hotel can be arranged for a surcharge. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately 30 EUR. The area around the hotel is quiet and rural and best explored on foot, or on scooters which are available to hire at the hotel.
Driving directions.From the airport head towards Lefkimmi. At Moraitka continue towards Messonghi, and follow the coast road to Boukari Port. Turn right after 200 metres for the hotel.
