Location. The Happy Cretan Hotel is set on a hillside overlooking the bay of Agia Pelagia in Crete. The sandy beach and village centre are within 1.5 kilometres and the city of Heraklion is 18 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The whitewashed studios and apartments are designed in Aegean style with terracotta roof tiles and views over the rocky cove below. Guests can relax in chlorine free Thalasso Pool and spa tub, enjoy a workout in the hotel's fitness centre with sea views, and sunbathe in the roof garden. Guests will find secure parking on site, and wireless Internet is provided (surcharge).
A breakfast of freshly baked bread, croissants and Greek yoghurt is served by the pool (surcharge). Traditional Cretan cuisine is served in the Happy Cretan restaurant, and homemade sweets are on offer in the caf�. There is also a poolside bar.
The hotel has a conference room for up to 120.
Guests can get a taste of local culture at the hotel's Cretan nights, and unwind with a massage.
Apartments. The 27 studios and apartments are light and airy with wooden furnishings and balconies. Amenities include air conditioning, televisions, CD players, phones, hair dryers and kitchenettes with refrigerators.
Expert Tip. Agia Pelagia is much quieter than the major resorts of Malia and Hersonissos. There are friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere in the beachside tavernas.

Distance to Happy Cretan is 20 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to get to Happy Cretan from the airport is by car or taxi.
Getting around. Guests can explore the area on foot, or use a car to go further afield. There is a bus stop one kilometre from the hotel with services operating a few times a day in peak season.
