The Mercure Hotel Erfurt Altstadt is a five storey hotel located in the centre of Erfurt's historic old town, one kilometre from Saint Severus' Church and 1.5 kilometres from Citadelle Petersburg. The 141 guestrooms feature simple, rustic decor with brick window alcoves, patterned bed fabrics and matching curtains, and wood furnishings including coffee tables, writing desks and chairs. The Zum Rebstock restaurant is housed in a building dating back to 1451 that retains many period features, including wooden beams and rustic brick.
